Two Injured in Shooting Near Hoyt Library, Suspect Arrested


Saginaw, Michigan — Police are investigating a shooting incident near the historic Hoyt Library, where two people were found suffering from gunshot wounds.

According to authorities, officers responded to the scene Monday evening after reports of gunfire. When police arrived, they located a 30-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman who had both been shot. Both victims were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Officials confirmed that their injuries were not life-threatening.

Investigators determined that the shooting occurred shortly before the victims were found. A 34-year-old suspect was taken into custody and is currently being held as the investigation continues.
