Multi-Victim Shooting in Buckeye, Arizona Leaves One Dead

A deadly multi-victim shooting is under investigation in Buckeye after authorities responded to reports of gunfire in the area of  West Elwood Street in Maricopa County.

According to initial emergency reports, officers and medical crews arrived on scene to find three victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim, identified as a 22-year-old woman, reportedly sustained gunshot wounds to both biceps and was receiving emergency medical treatment at the scene.

A second victim, described as a 17-year-old female, reportedly suffered a gunshot wound to the buttocks with no exit wound detected. Initial reports also indicated the teenager may possibly be pregnant, adding further urgency to the medical response.

Authorities confirmed a third victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Emergency radio traffic classified the victim as “901H,” a term commonly used to indicate a deceased individual.

Police quickly secured the area as investigators began gathering evidence and speaking with witnesses. Multiple emergency units responded to the scene while paramedics worked to stabilize the surviving victims before transport to nearby hospitals.

Officials have not yet released information regarding a possible suspect, motive, or circumstances that led to the shooting. It also remains unclear whether the victims knew each other or if additional individuals may have been involved.

Residents in the neighborhood reported a heavy law enforcement presence following the incident as investigators continued processing the scene late into the evening.
