OFFICER-INVOLVED SHOOTING REPORTED AT FORT WORTH APARTMENT COMPLEX

 FORT WORTH, TX (Denton County) — A heavy police presence was reported Tuesday following an officer-involved shooting at an apartment complex near Trailway Drive and Northcreek Road, prompting an emergency response and raising concerns among local residents.

According to initial reports, shots were fired inside an apartment unit, leading to a rapid response from law enforcement agencies. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were requested to the scene as the situation unfolded.

Authorities have not yet confirmed the exact sequence of events that led to the shooting, and details about injuries—particularly whether any officers were harmed—remain unknown at this time.

A similar officer-involved shooting was reported earlier in Fort Worth on the same day, where police confirmed no ongoing threat to the public but limited details about injuries or suspects.
