Five Police Officers Injured After Police Boat Collides With Westminster Bridge in London

London, United Kingdom – Five Metropolitan Police officers were injured after a police vessel collided with Westminster Bridge on the River Thames, prompting a large-scale emergency response in central London.

The collision occurred near one of London's busiest landmarks, leading authorities to cordon off sections of Westminster Bridge and the nearby Victoria Embankment. Numerous ambulances, fire engines, police vehicles, and emergency personnel rushed to the scene, while a helicopter was seen circling overhead as rescue operations unfolded.

According to the Metropolitan Police, several officers were thrown into the River Thames following the impact and had to be recovered from the water by emergency responders.
